Nationally-recognised and award-winning solicitor David Greenwood leads the team as Head of Department. He has a national reputation in his field, and is a prominent campaigner for the rights of victims of abuse. He has worked in this area of law since 1992, and since 1998 has focussed exlusively on child abuse law.  His work in this time has helped to change the law. The judgement in one landmark case led to the lifting of time limits on compensation claims in abuse cases. He has also worked to expand the law of vicarious liability – crucial in many child abuse cases. David is accredited by the Law Society (Personal Injury accreditation scheme), is a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, and an Executive Member of The Association of Child Abuse Lawyers. He was named Claimant Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year at the Eclipse Proclain Personal Injury Awards in 2014.
